CONVENTIONAL BOILER
A Conventional system is designed with two tanks
A cold water storage tank and a hot water cylinder. This type of system takes up more space. The benefit with this system is you can have several taps running at the same time without it affect the flow/pressure of your hot water.
combination boiler
A Combi boiler is good if you want to maximise space
This system does not require any additional tanks. This system gives you instant hot water and good hot water pressure. However, if you have several taps running at the same time your hot water flow will drop pressure.
unvented system
This system is often called Megaflow
With a Megaflow system, you don’t need any storage water tanks in the loft however, you will still have an unvented hot water cylinder. The benefit is that you have good hot and cold water pressure. This system is suitable for big properties with three or more bathrooms.
